Museum Development Group
The Museum Development Group was established by the Museum Director, Sarah Gillespie, in order to develop the galleries for the enhancement of the Museum. The group is headed up by Deputy Director Breandán Ó hEaghra and consists of Helen Bermingham, Ríona Egan, Brendan McGowan and James Reynolds. The group reports to the Museum Director.
Museum Advisory Committee
The Museum Advisory Committee consists of members from various cultural agencies throughout the City and is headed up by the Mayor of Galway City. The Committee was activated by the Museum Director in order to gauge the public view on the Museum's development plan.
