For nearly a millennium, the Irish harp has changed shape and size, and adapted to new fashions and styles. From the small, highly ornate, medieval instrument, it has grown into the tall and restrained beauty of the modern Irish harp. In this illustrated talk you will learn all about the Irish harp’s journey through the centuries, how it was made, played and sounded!
