Looking West from Galway Bay: A celebration of John F. Kennedy's visit to Galway

In June 1963 John Fitzgerald Kennedy, the great-grandson of Irish emigrants, became the first serving U.S. President to visit Ireland. President Kennedy spent fours days in Ireland, visiting Dublin, Wexford, Cork, Galway & Limerick. Using objects, documents, photographs, rare film footage and personal memories the Museum commemorates this memorable visit to the City of the Tribes.
