Galway Textile Factory

Dolls dress dating to 1957, made from cotton off-cut from the Galway Textile Factory (the Cotton Factory) which opened on Sandy Rd., Galway in the 1950s.  Vaclav Otto Gunzel (1900-1980), born near Pilzen, Czech Republic, was contracted to design and oversee the building of the Galway Textile Factory in 1955.

Free |  OPENING TIMES: Tuesday to Saturday: 10:00 to 17:00 and from Easter to end of September on Sundays: 12:00 to 17:00 (Exhibitions close at 16:45)
