Having spread from 15th century Italy, bobbin lace is the oldest form of lace known in Ireland. In partnership with the Headford Lace Project, join Jackie Magnin, a Cork-based bobbin lacemaker and member of the Traditional Lacemakers of Ireland, as she demonstrates her craft. Feel free to bring along your lace samples for identification.
