Perched on top of a 90m-high cliff on Inis Mór – the largest of the Aran Islands – the pre-historic fort of Dún Aonghasa is one of the most spectacular in Europe. The site welcomes almost 140,000 visitors annually. Join historian Cillian de Grás, manager at Dún Aonghasa, as he discusses the site with a particular reference to tourism and sustainability.

ADMISSION: Free |  OPENING TIMES: Tuesday to Saturday: 10:00 to 17:00 and from Easter to end of September on Sundays: 12:00 to 17:00 (Exhibitions close at 16:45)

REOPENING OF GALWAY CITY MUSEUM

Important Notice: Galway City Museum will reopen its doors to the public on Tuesday 21 July at 10am.
