With more than 100 scheduled events per annum, Galway City Museum’s programme of events caters for a variety of audiences and interests, comprising gallery tours, illustrated talks, art and craft workshops, art classes and evening lectures. Loading Events

Join Museum staff for a special tour of the Monument exhibition, which explores some of Europe’s biggest and most impressive stone monuments located on some of Europe’s smallest islands, focussing on Dún Aonghasa on Inis Mór. Afterwards, get hands-on with some replicas of National Museum of Ireland artefacts found on archaeological sites.

ADMISSION: Free |  OPENING TIMES: Tuesday to Saturday: 10:00 to 17:00 and from Easter to end of September on Sundays: 12:00 to 17:00 (Exhibitions close at 16:45)
