The Irish Family History Centre presents a one-day introductory course to genealogy with historian and genealogist Declan Brady. Participants will get a greater insight into their family history and will learn how to connect to the past using various sources and techniques. The workshop will be divided into four sessions: research methods and census records, civil registration and church records, land records and wills, and military and institutional records.

Galway City Museum will reopen Tuesday 1st December 2020 on four daily timeslots; 10am, 11:30am, 2:00pm and 3:30pm, Tuesday to Saturday.  Admission remains FREE but visitors will require a ticket for their visit. Tickets can be booked on this website by clicking ‘BOOK TICKET’ on the website homepage.
