Galway City Musuem and Galway Atlantaquaria present ‘Sum of the Sea’, a marine-inspired maths event covering  topics such as seabed mapping, measuring the lengths and weights of marine animals, spatial awareness, budgeting and lots more!

Maths Week is an all-island celebration of mathematics co-ordinated by Calmast STEM Outreach Centre at the Waterford Institute of Technology with thousands of events happening all over the country.

This event takes places at Galway City Museum and is suitable for people aged between 8 and 12 years of age (parental supervision is required for younger children). As places are limited, advance booking is required. To book, call the museum on (091) 532 460.

Galway City Museum opens Tuesday to Saturday from 10am until 5pm.  Admission is FREE!
