Dziady (meaning ‘grandfathers’) is an ancient Salvic feast which commemorated the dead. In Poland this tradition survives as Zaduski, a religious holiday commemorating those who have passed away, similar to All Souls’ Day. Join the Bardzo Ładnie Foundation and the Polish Scouts Association Galway to find out more about Polish Halloween traditions.
