Whist Drive Ticket
Ticket issued for a Whist Drive at the Columban Hall, Galway. The ticket was produced at O’ Gormans printing house, Shop St. The Whist Drive was a progressive card game used to raise funds for ‘a charitable purpose’. The ticket cost 2/6 and indicates that the event occurred some time before 1971 when a decimalised currency was introduced to Ireland.
